In other words, instead of making the usual coconut chutney, you use Hurigadale/Roasted yellow chana/Dalia to make a wonderful tasting side for dosas or chapatis. Excellent with masala dosas as well!

GRIND ALL THESE:
1 Cup Chutney Dal( Roasted yellow chana dal or Dalia)
2-3 Green Chillies
1 Garlic
1/2 " ginger
Curry Leaves
Cilantro
Salt
1/4 Cup or More Plain Yogurt
2 Mint Leaves
AND SEASON WITH:
1-2 tsp Oil and Ghee
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 tsp Urad Dal
1 Dry Red Chilli (optional)
With plain crisp Dosas:
